An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted May 24 2019 between 11:00am and 12:30pm. There were 15 children observed in the care of the provider and 2 assistants. Children were observed eating lunch, washing hands, and playing outside. The home was clean and organized. There are age-appropriate toys, books, and play areas for the children to use. Description: Based on observation and staff interview, the provider did not ensure that the total number of children receiving care at any one time did not exceed the maximum licensed capacity. Evidence: The home is licensed for 12 children. There were 15 children in care at the family day home. The staff member stated that 3 children were from one family and the family needed emergency child care for the day.

Plan of Correction: The mother came and picked up the children.

Description: Based on observation, the family day home did not have a tight-fitted bottom cover on cribs. Evidence: 2 of the 3 cribs that are used in the family day home did not have tight-fitted bottoms covers. The sheets were able to be grabbed and bunched up.

Plan of Correction: We will correct it as soon as possible.
