Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 11:30am-12:30pm. There were 9 children (24 points) directly supervised by the provider and an assistant. The home, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, 1 household member?s records, 1 pet records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed sleeping and sitting in high chairs interacting with the provider. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on record review, the provider did not obtain for each caregiver and adult household member a current Report of Tuberculosis Screening form, in accordance with the requirements in 22 VAC 40-111-170, every two years from the date of the first screening or more frequently as recommended by a physician or the local health department. Evidence: 1. Adult 1's most recent Tuberculosis screening was conducted on 1/19/2017. 2. Adult 2's most recent Tuberculosis screening was conducted on 12/29/2016.

Plan of Correction: We will schedule appointments for updated screenings.
