Technical Assistance:
Licensing inspector discussed child abuse and neglect training.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 1:50pm-2:50pm. There were 5 children (12 points) in the direct care and supervision of 1 caregiver. A sample of 3 children?s records and 1caregivers record and 7 household member's records were reviewed. The children were observed napping, watching television and playing. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-600-B
Description: Based on observation, a toddler spent more than 30 minutes of consecutive time during waking hours confined. Evidence: Child A was sitting in a high chair from approximately 2:01pm-2:243pm.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-1-c
Description: Based on record review, a household member did not have a complete central registry search. Evidence: Household Member A did not have a complete central registry search on file.

Plan of Correction: We will follow up with OBI.

Standard #: 63.2-1721.1-B-3
Description: Based on record review, household members whom have lived outside of Virginia within that last 5 years did nit have a complete out of state central registry search. Evidence: 1. Household Members A and B have resided out side of Virginia in the last 5 years. 2. Household Members A and B did not have an initiated out of state central registry search.

Plan of Correction: We will initiate the searches.
