Licensing inspector discussed required posting of documents and child abuse and neglect training.
- Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 9:20am-11:10am. There were 10 children (24 points) in the direct care and supervision of 2 caregivers. A sample of 5 children?s records, 3 household member's records and 2 caregiver's records were reviewed. The children were observed playing, singing, reading books, and washing hands. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-780-B Description: Based on record review, the provider did not review with the parent the emergency contact information, at least annually, to ensure the information is correct. Evidence: 1. The file of Child A was last reviewed 05/01/2018. 2. The file of Child B was last reviewed 05/01/2018. 3. The file of Child C was last reviewed 03/13/2018. Plan of Correction: I will leave out files for parents to update today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-800-B Description: Based on observation, the provider did not review the emergency plan at least annually. Evidence: The emergency plan was last reviewed 01/24/2018. Plan of Correction: I will review it tonight.
