Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 2 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 12:20-1:35. There were 11 children (plus the Provider's grandson), totaling 23 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. Today, the children played outside, fed the birds outside, sang songs, learned about fruits and vegetables, drew their favorite fruits and vegetables, enjoyed free play, cleaned up for and rested during naptime. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served spaghetti with halal meat, mixed vegetables in a tomato sauce, apples, bread and milk. The Provider is certified in MAT (medication administration training). However, there are no children with any medication needs at this time. Should you have any questions, please contact me at mary.wizbicki@dss.virginia.gov
