Technical Assistance:
An annual health and safety training for subsidy providers is online at VA DSS web site and must be completed by 3/2020. It is in addition to the 10 hour PreService training that has been completed. Please refer to the October 2018 notice under current providers.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 5/23/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Care of children, physical space, records and emergency preparation were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. .
