A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on June 6, 2019 from approximately 10:45 AM to 1:00 PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. In attendance were 9 children totaling 20 points being supervised by the provider and an assistant. The children were observed interacting with the provider and the assistant, having circle time, completing a craft, washing hands, having lunch, and napping. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. The first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with the required items found. There is no medication being administered at this time. Five children's records and the caregiver/household member records were inspected. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
