63.2 Licensure and Registration Procedures

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10:20am to 11:55am. 8 children (20pts) were present with 3 caregivers. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 4 children's records, caregiver/household member records, attendance records, evacuation drills and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Required documents were posted. No medications were on site. Children were observed in free play, listening to story time, preparing for/eating lunch and napping. Interactions between caregivers and children were positive. Standard #: 63.2-1721.1-B-2
Description: Based on record review and interview with the Provider, 1 household member did not submit to fingerprinting prior to September 30, 2018. Evidence: The Household Member had the Criminal History Check, dated 04/05/2018, but had not submitted to fingerprinting yet.

Plan of Correction: I will ask her to get the fingerprinting done right away.
