The licensing inspector conducted a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection on Friday, June 07, 2019 from 09:00am to 11:40am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed eating breakfast, playing with toys, going over sign language, and singing songs. Today, there were 11 children, totaling 33 points, present with three caregivers. The provider does administer medication, however there wasn't any medication to administer. The provider does not provide transportation. The provider does not have pets. Five children?s records and three caregivers? records were reviewed during the inspection. Emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 05/13/2019 Last shelter-in-place drill: 05/13/2019 Last lockdown drill: 01/11/2019 A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Please see the accompanying violation notice. The violations from the previous inspections were checked for corrections. There weren't any violations found during today?s inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-190-A Description: Based on a review of caregiver records on 06/07/2019, the provider did not ensure that documentation that the individual is determined to be free of communicable tuberculosis (TB) shall have been completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment. EVIDENCE: The tb screening in the record of Caregiver #2 is dated 05/31/2018. Plan of Correction: Going forward will stay within the 30 day allotted time frame.
