An unannounced renewal visit was conducted today between the hours of 8:50am through 9:50am with the provider on site. There was 1 child (4 points) with the provider. A sample of 3 children's files and 2 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The infant was sleeping and held by the provider. Interactions between the child and provider were positive. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review, the caregiver did not obtain 16 clock hours of training annually. Evidence: 1. The caregiver did not complete 16 hours of training in 2018 and completed 3 1/2 hours of training in 2019. Plan of Correction: I will make sure I get the training done each year.
