A unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the provider. Three children were in care with an age range of nine months to four years old. Total points was nine. Children were observed during free play. Three children's records and two household records were reviewed. All required paper work was posted. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-900-B Description: Based on observation children were allowed to walk and play in the day care area while drinking from bottles. Evidence: one 20 month old and a nine month old were playing while drinking from bottles. Plan of Correction: Children will stay seated when drinking from bottle.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on the review of three children's records not all were complete. Evidence: Child A 10/30/17 and child B 3/31/16 Did ot have documentation of a physical. Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents for tne missing information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-390-B-2 Description: Based on observation not all emergency supplies were working during the inspection. Evidence: The weather band radio world not work on batteries. Plan of Correction: We will buy a new radio this week.
