Licensing inspector discussed repeat violations with provider. Licensing inspector spoke with the provider about being a resource to maintain compliance.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 11:50am-1:40pm. There were 5 children (11 points) in the direct care and supervision of 1 caregiver. A sample of 5 children?s records and 1 caregiver's record were reviewed. The children were observed napping and engaging with caregiver. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-780-B Description: Based on record review, the provider did not review with the parent the emergency contact information to ensure the information is correct. Evidenced: 1. The file of Child A was last reviewed 05/09/2018 2. The file of Child B was last reviewed 1/11/2017 Plan of Correction: The parent will review the file today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on observation and record review, documentation of emergency evacuation were not maintained. Evidence: 1. Documentation of evacuation drills practiced for the months of May and June of 2019 were not maintained. 2. Licensing Inspector witnessed Caregiver A documenting evacuation drills practiced for May, June and July 2019. Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-A Description: Based on observation and record review, the family day home did not keep a written record of children in attendance each day. Evidence: 1. The attendance for 07/11/2019 was not documented. 2. Licensing Inspector witnessed Caregiver A entering in the attendance for 07/11/2019. Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2 Description: Based on observation, the findings of the most recent inspection were not posted. Evidence: 1. There was no violation notice posted. 2. The most recent inspection occurred June 2019. Plan of Correction: I lost the papers, I will post today's inspection.
