Today we discussed assistance, training hours and small appliances.

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted. There were eight children in care with the licensee and one assistant. Children present ranged in age from ten months through nine years old. Total points present equaled 15. Children were observed in self-directed play activities. Permission to swim including swim ability in the family day home above ground swimming pool was reviewed. Today, the provider confirmed that children who are not potty trained are not allowed in the pool. Permission to transport was reviewed. Required postings were reviewed. Household and children's records were reviewed. There were not any violations identified during this inspection.
