Discussed with provider that 16 hours of professional development is required by February 2020. Reminder that two shelter in place drills be conducted annually.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 12:15pm-1:15pm. There were 2 children (4 points) including the providers own child directly supervised by the provider. The home, 1 staff records, 2 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed returning from playing at a nearby park and participating in dramatic play. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Evidence: Child 1's record did not contain the name address and phone number of one of two required emergency contacts. Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents to provide another emergency contact.
