Comments:

An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. A total of 2 children (8pts) with Provider was present. When the Inspector arrived, both children were napping. Provider was observed responding to each child when they awoke. Hand washing procedures were observed prior to morning snack. The children were busy playing individually with balls, rattles and a variety of toys. Positive interaction was observed between Provider and the children. Provider was observed repositioning the infants often to promote stimulation and interest. Equipment was placed within reach of the children in care to encourage self selection and exploration. Observation of the crib areas, kitchen area and entire programming space was made. The home was found clean and well organized and an ample supply of toys, books and equipment age appropriate for the children currently in care. All children's records, emergency evacuation drills, topical ointment authorizations were reviewed and found complete. No medications on site at this time. Outdoor play area well maintained. No new staff since the last licensing inspection in April and Provider's record remains current and complete. Previous violations from the April inspection were reviewed and corrective action was verified. No violations found today. This inspection began at approximately 10am and ended at 11:30am.
