Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted with the provider beginning at 9:50 AM and ending at 11:45 AM. There were seven children in the care of the provider during the inspection. The children were ages 17 months, 22 months, 2, 2, 3, 3, and 4 years old for a total of 16 points. The children were observed playing with home living toys, playing with play dough, and coloring. Bathroom and hand washing procedures were observed. Seven children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two household records were reviewed and in compliance. One staff record were reviewed. One pet record was reviewed and in compliance. The emergency preparedness plan and drill log was reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. There were no allergy care plans to be reviewed. The provider and assistant have current First Aid and CPR training certification. The provider has a current Medication Administration Training (MAT) certification which is required to administer prescription medication. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance.
