Discussed the subsidy training that is due in March 2020.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today between the hours of 9:12 am through 10:30am with the provider on site. There were 2 children (4 points) with the provider. A sample of 1 children's files and 4 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play. Interactions between the children and provider were positive. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Description: Based on record review, the wood burning fireplace had not been inspected annually. Evidence: 1. The provider had the wood burning fireplace last inspected on 11/22/2017 and needs to have an updated inspection.

Plan of Correction: I will call and set up an appointment to get the fireplace inspected.
