A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 8/8/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 10 children (29 points) supervised by 2 direct care staff. The home, 1 staff records, 6 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed napping, watching a video, playing freely, and eating snack. Diapering and handwashing procedures were also observed. There was an abundance of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B Description: Based on record review, the provider did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: The current date's attendance sheet did not contain documentation of the arrival times of the children in care. Plan of Correction: I will pay more attention not to miss the times for the children's attendance.
