Technical Assistance:
Discussed the annual subsidy training due by March 2020.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on August 22, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Description: Based on review, all caregivers did not complete Virginia Pre-Service Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Social Services within the first 90 days of employment or service. Evidence: 1. Caregiver #3 began employment 1/17/2019 and did not have record of completing the Virginia Preservice Training within the first 90 days.

Plan of Correction: I will have the caregiver complete it when she returns.
