Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, August 21, 2019. The on-site inspection was conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 11:55 p.m. On this date, there were five children in the care of the provider and assistant (13 points). There were a total of 13 children enrolled in the program. There were five children's records reviewed and the records of three caregivers and one adult household member were reviewed for updates. The provider, the assistant and one child was interviewed. There were no medications being administered at the time of the inspection, which is the policy of the provider. The violations from the previous inspection had been corrected. There were no violations of the licensing standards issued. The children enjoyed watching the big truck and crane that delivered construction supplies to the addition being built to the house. Some items reviewed and observed included choice time, outdoor play, songs and musical activities, story time, warm water temperature, documentation of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, required posted information, refrigerator and freezer temperatures, first aid kit and emergency supplies, diaper changing procedures, and hand washing procedures.
