A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted today, 9/5/19 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. There were 7 children in care with 2 caregivers. Children were observed reading books, having snack (mangoes, bananas and milk), dancing and reading books. Reviewed 3 children's files, 2 caregiver files and 5 household members files, emergency evacuation log, menus, attendance, and physical plant. There were no medications on site. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920 Description: Based on observation and interview with Provider, menus for the current one-week period are not posted or given to parents.
Evidence:
Daily menu is posted on chalkboard. Provider stated she changes the board daily.Plan of Correction: I will post or give weekly menus to parents.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-690-D Description: Based on observation, the diapering surface is not being cleaned and sanitized after each use.
Evidence:
Child#1 and Child#2 were observed having their diapers changed. Staff#1 did not clean and sanitize the diapering surface after each diaper change.Plan of Correction: We will clean and sanitize after each change
