An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted September 12 2019 between 8:15am and 9:45am. There were 2 children in the direct care of the provider and the assistant. Children were observed napping and being fed. Staff, household member, and child records were reviewed. The home is clean and organized. The day care has age appropriate materials for the children in care. Areas of non-compliance are listed on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-760-A-1 Description: Based on observation, the provider did not have a complete first aid kit.
Evidence: The first aid kit does not contain two triangular bandages.
Plan of Correction: I will stop by the store to purchase the correct one.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, 1 of 2 children's records reviewed did not have all of the required information.
Evidence: Child #2 record does not contain documentation of who or when the original proof of identification was viewed. Child #2 record does not have documentation of the child's first date of attendance.
Plan of Correction: I corrected the violation during inspection.
