Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the provider, who was present with three children ( 16 months through 3 years of age). The children were engaged in free playing at the beginning of the inspection and then the provider read them a book. The provider reported that there were no medication on site nor have their been any injuries/accidents. Three children and two adult files were reviewed today.
The provider has obtained First Aid/CPR through American Safety Health Institute and its due to expire on 4/27/21.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A
Description: Based on a review of the evacuation drill log and an interview with the provider, it was determined that there have not been monthly practiced escape drills.
Evidence:
There were no escape drills conducted in July 2019.

Plan of Correction: My day care was closed 7/22/19 through 8/27/19. I will remember to do monthly escape drills.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on a review of two household member's files and an interview with the provider, it was determined that household members had not obtained repeat tuberculosis tests/screenings within 2 years from the last screenings.
Evidence:
Person A's tuberculosis tests is dated 4/20/17 and Person B's tuberculosis test/screening is dated 4/22/17.

Plan of Correction: If I cant locate and up to date tuberculosis test we will get new ones.
