- Technical Assistance:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from approximately 10:50am to 12:15pm to determine the provider's compliance with licensing standards. During this inspection, there were no children in care observed by the inspector and no children are enrolled at this time. The provider assisted the inspector throughout the inspection. The areas for childcare, bathroom, kitchen, and the indoor, and outdoor play areas were inspected. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit, non-emergency supplies, and required drills were inspected. The provider?s records and one household member's records were reviewed.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on a review of records on 09/18/2019, the provider did not obtain a subsequent tuberculosis (TB) screening for one household member within the required time frame.
Evidence: 1) The most recent TB screening in the record for Household Member #1 was dated 06/23/2017. A subsequent TB screening should have been obtained by 06/23/2019. The provider shall obtain for each caregiver and adult household member a current Report of Tuberculosis Screening form, in accordance with the requirements in 22 VAC 40-111-170, every two years from the date of the first screening or more frequently as recommended by a physician or the local health department.
Plan of Correction: Per the Provider: The TB screening will be completed as soon as possible.
