Technical Assistance:

Discussed age and stage appropriate behavior and activities. Discussed when children have a medical need that requires elevation while sleeping. Please have a physician's statement if this is needed.

Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. When the inspector arrived the children were transitioning to afternoon nap time. Staff were strategically placed in both programming rooms to ensure adequate supervision. Children were sleeping in cots and cribs. Artwork was on display that the children completed. Staff were cutting construction paper shapes for future art projects. Plates, utensils and cups were washed and drying after lunch. Staff discussed independent needs and personalities of the children and knowledgeable of specific needs of the children enrolled. The home was well organized, equipped with ample amounts of toys, equipment and books age appropriate for the children in care. A total of 5 children's records were reviewed, no new staff or change in household since the last inspection in February. Emergency evacuation drills found current. No medications or food allergies were on site at this time. This inspection began at approximately 12pm and ended at 2pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
