Technical Assistance was offered regarding background checks.
- Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:15 am to 11:30 am. There were 10 children (27 points) in care of three caregivers. The children were observed playing in small groups with toys, puzzles and home living equipment. Infants were also observed sleeping. There were no medications on site. The emergency drill records were current. Hand washing was observed before lunch was served. The lunch menu included pulled pork, tater tots, carrots and milk. Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-B-3 Description: Based on records review and staff interview, out of state central registry findings for an employee were not obtained within 45 days of employment.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver # 1'S first day of employment was 8/6/19.
2. Caregiver # 1's record indicated that she has resided in Florida and Georgia within the last 5 years.
3. Caregiver # 2 stated that she had not requested the out of state central registries for Caregiver # 1 for both states. Out of state central registries for Caregiver # 1 were not obtained within 45 days of employment.Plan of Correction: I will submit the forms as soon as possible and follow up with the licensing inspector.
