Licensing inspector discussed zoning, Arlington inspections, children's and staff records with provider
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10am- 11:40am. There were 6 (22 points) in the direct care and supervision of 2 of caregivers. A sample of 3 children?s records and 2 caregivers records were reviewed. The children were observed playing outside, eating, napping and during tummy time. The provider has put in new hardwood floors, the facility also has a new crib that is compliant with current standards.One new caregiver has been hired since the last inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on record review, emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly.
1. Emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced in August.
2. An emergency evacuation procedure took place on July 5th and September 18th of 2019.
3. A tornado drill was conducted August 27th 2019.
