Discussed with provider physical plant and programming areas.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-1:00pm. There were no children in care during the inspection. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on review of emergency drills, evacuation drills were incomplete.
Evacuation drills were not documented for the months of August 2019 and September 2019.
Plan of Correction: We will do an extra drill for October 2019.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920 Description: Based on observation the posted menu, the provider did not ensure that the current posted menu was dated for the current one-week period.
The current posted menu has not been dated.
Plan of Correction: We will ensure we add a date to our menu.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-100-A Description: Based on observation, the provider did not obtain a physical examination for each child within 30 days of first attendance.
Child#3's record did not contain a physical examination. The child's first day of attendance was documented as 8/1/2019.
Plan of Correction: I will request for the parent to bring a copy of the physical examination.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-90-A Description: Based on record review and interview, the provider did not obtain immunization documentation for each child before their first day of attendance.
Child#3's record did not contain the child's immunization record. The child's first day of attendance was documented as 8/1/2019.
Plan of Correction: I will get the parent to bring a copy as soon as possible.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review, a caregiver did not obtain a minimum of 16 hours of training annually.
Staff#2's record has only 13.5 hours of training in 2018.
Plan of Correction: We have scheduled several webinars and a class to attend.
