Technical Assistance:
Discussed required components of Emergency Preparedness Plan

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/28/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.There were 5 children (18 points) with the provider and assistant caregiver present. A sample of 5 children's files, 2 caregiver and all household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: naptime, handwashing, snacktime , dancing, completing puzzles, and free play. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Evidence:
The emergency preparedness plan did not contain procedures for continuity of care during emergencies.
