Comments:
An unannounced full renewal inspection was conducted today. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 8 children, totaling 22 points. Children's records, the physical plant, caregiver training, caregiver records, background checks, emergency preparedness items, child care programming, children's nutrition, and caregiver:child interactions were inspected today. The provider reported that no children's medications were on site today.

The children were observed coloring pictures, assembling puzzles, playing with toys, and eating lunch. The children were served a hot lunch of chicken soup with fresh vegetables, sliced grapes, and milk. Pleasant and friendly interactions between caregivers and children were observed throughout this inspection.
The child care area continues to be clean and well-supplied with a large variety of age-appropriate toys and materials.

This inspection was completed between approximately 9:45am and 11:15am. Thank you for meeting with me today. If you have any questions regarding this inspection please email me at sandra.dimperio@dss.virginia.gov
