Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:15am-11:15am. There were 10 children (31 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, 5 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed sitting at the table with the provider painting, reading books, reciting numbers and letters, and singing songs. The provider addressed the children in a calm and steady voice-- interactions were deemed positive. Providers washed hands and cleaned tables and chairs when painting activity was completed.Infants were observed playing with big blocks, crawling freely and using tables and chairs to pull up to standing. Children worked together with the provider to clean up blocks and toy animals to prepare the space for dancing. During inspection, a parent dropped off their child and the provider greeted them both and discussed how the child's morning was. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. An area of non-compliance is identified in the Violation Notice.
