- Technical Assistance:
Consultation provided on substitute provider's requirements such as and the need to maintain a time sheet if alone ( without the provider) with children for more than two hours. The use of a substitute shall be limited to no more than a total of 240 hours per calendar year.
You will need to obtain a copy of a substitute provider's high school diploma or the equivalent such as GED.
Make sure you set the smoke detector off when doing monthly escape drills.
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today with the provider, who was present with 4 day care children and 1 residential child for a total of 12 points. The children got up from nap, had free play and then were provided snack ( grapes, goldfish and water). There were no medications on site at this time. Five adult and six children's files were reviewed today. There were no violations observed during this inspection.
