Technical Assistance:
Provided consultation on completing the Virginia Pre-service update training. Provided consultation on the requirement to have paper towels in the bathroom accessible to children.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:20 - 11:30 am with the provider. There were three children in care, ranging from 17 months to four years of age, for a total of seven points. The children were observed playing with a variety of toys during today's inspection, washing their hands and eating snack. Snack served today was a whole grain breakfast cookie and apple slices with water. Three children's records and three caregiver/household member records were reviewed and in compliance. Required information was posted. Childcare areas and supplies were observed. The emergency drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care.
