Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/18/19 from 10:50am until 12:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, there were 4 children in care, for a total of 9 points, with the vendor and 1 assistant. A sample of 4 children's records and 3 vendor/assistant/household member records were reviewed. Children were observed participating in morning learning activities and free play. Restroom, hand washing and lunch preparation procedures were also observed. First aid and emergency supplies, the emergency preparedness plan, documentation of emergency practice drills and required family day home postings were reviewed. The provider does not administer medication to children in care. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
