Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, topical creams and ointments, and monitor crib sheets and fitting over mattress.

Comments:
The children were observed playing freely and with toys on the floor. There were age appropriate materials for all children in care. Hand washing was observed.

Description: Based on observation of over-the-counter topical skin products, the provider did not ensure topical skin product provided by the parent was labeled with the child's name.
Evidence
1. Child #3's Desitin cream was not labeled with the child's name.

Plan of Correction: Label the child's name on the Desitin cream

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-530-B
Description: Based on observation, the provider did not ensure a tight-fitting bottom cover on cribs being used by infants.
Evidence:
1. One crib being used for an infant did not have a tight-fitting bottom.
