A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on November 26, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 11:40 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. There were seven children in the care of the provider and one assistant for a total of twenty-one points. No medication is being administered at the present. Five children's records and the record for the provider and one assistant were reviewed and updated. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
Areas observed: emergency supplies were checked, refrigerator and water temperatures were in compliance, hand washing/bathroom procedures, lunch, and nap. Interactions between the children and provider were observed as appropriate and the children seemed comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.
