Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-12:00pm. There were 11 children in care plus the provider's child (12 children present, 26 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, 1 household member?s record, evacuation drills, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing outside on climbing materials, playing and walking freely. Children and staff walked into the home. Children independently took off their boots and outside overalls then placed all items in their respective cubbies. They washed hands and prepared for lunch. Lunches are provided by individual families. Once lunch concluded, children rinsed their plates off in a bucket of soapy water and placed their plates in the dishwasher. Children were encouraged to complete tasks independently. Staff offered children choices and encouraged children to make their own decisions.
