Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 11:15am-12:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 4 children (10 points) in the direct care of the Provider and the Assistant Provider. A sample size of 3 children's records, 4 caregiver/household member records, evacuation drills, emergency materials and the daycare space were reviewed. The children were observed playing with toys, wiping their hands, coloring, having snack (goldfish), completing puzzles, and listening to music.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions, please contact me at shahana.green@dss.virginia.gov . Thank you.
