An unannounced Subsidy inspection was conducted on 12/2/19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
There were 3 children present, 8 months to 4 years old, for a total of 9 points, in care with the vendor. The records sample size consisted of 3 children?s records and 2 vendor / household member records. Children were observed watching a children?s program, washing hands, eating lunch (macaroni with beef, green beans, grapes, milk) and settling down for rest time. Restroom procedures and food service were also observed today. The vendor states that no medication is administered to children in care at this time. The vendor stated that children are not routinely transported in a vehicle while in care. Children play outdoors in the front lawn with direct supervision and close proximity of the vendor. One minor injury report was reviewed during the inspection today. There are no children currently enrolled who have diagnosed food allergies.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
Thank you for your time during today's inspection.
