Discussed Licensing Process, and notifying parents of menu changes
A mandated Renewal inspection was conducted today. There was 1 child present (3 points) with 1 caregiver. Child was observed playing with musical manipulative toys, alphabet magnetic game and a spinning ball. Reviewed 2 children's files, 1 caregiver file, 2 resident files, attendance, emergency evacuation log and plan, menus, provider training hours, and physical plant. There were no medications on site. Child#1 (start date 7/3/19) did not have an address for 1 emergency contact.
Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent for the information
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-240-A Description: Based on observation, areas of the home are not being maintained in a clean, safe or operable condition.
1. The bathroom sink has a leak in the hot water faucet handle.
2. The door used for emergency exit in the kitchen area is obstructed with overgrown ivy and other debris which is a hazard.
Plan of Correction: I will have the sink fixed and clear the backdoor area.
