Due to the background check related violation cited in today's inspection, the Provider is required to follow-up with the appropriate department regarding the status of any missing and/or incomplete background checks. Documentation of the completed follow-up must be sent to the Licensing Inspector within 10 business days, and a copy of all missing/incomplete background check results must be sent to the Licensing Inspector upon arrival.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 12:15pm-1:45pm. There were 6 children (12 points) in the direct care and supervision of the Provider and the Assistant Provider. A sample size of 3 children's records, 2 caregiver records, evacuation drills, the first aid kit, and the daycare space were reviewed. The children were observed setting the table for lunch, eating lunch (tortillas, ground beef, salsa, lettuce, cheese, refried beans, fruit, and milk), using the restroom, and laying down for their designated rest period. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org . Thank you.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K. Eligible child care facilities must be fully licensed, licensed exempt and a VDSS subsidy vendor, or a voluntary registered day home and a VDSS subsidy vendor.
