Comments:
An Unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted today. There was 1 child (3 points) directly supervised by 1 caregiver. The home, provider's records, 1 child's records, 2 household member's records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely inside the play room. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920
Description: Based on review, the provider did not have a menu of the current one-week period.
Evidence: Reviewed the provider's postings and found that here was no menu posted.

Plan of Correction: Corrected at the time of the visit.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280
Description: Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that potentially poisonous materials and supplies are inaccessible to children.
Evidence: Observed that the safety latch in the bathroom was not catching and making the Pledge cleaner, glass cleaner, Tilex, Spin and Span accessible to children.

Plan of Correction: The provider adjusted the latch so that it catches.

Description: Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that protective covers are installed on all unused electrical outlets.
Evidence; Observed an uncovered electrical outlet in the bathroom near the sink.

Plan of Correction: Outlet cover installed on the outlet.

Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2
Description: Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that the findings of the most recent inspection of the facility was posted.
Evidence: Observed that the provider did not have the most recent inspection posted, but had it filed in a binder.
