Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today between the hours of 9:20am through 10:30am with the provider on site. There were 4 children (10 points) with the provider. A sample of 1 children's files and 2 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, reading stories with the provider and snack. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. Interactions between the children and caregiver were positive. The physical space, evacuation records, attendance records and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. There were no violations cited this date. Please contact me if you have any questions at Stacy.Doyle@dss.virginia.gov or 571-835-0386.
