Licensing inspector reminded the provider of 22VAC40-665-(7)-410-A-3 - Lockdown procedures shall be practiced at least annually.

An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the provider and assistant beginning at 8:35 AM and ending at 9:40 AM. There were three children in care during the inspection. The children were ages 8 months, 3, and 4 years old for a total of 8 points. The infant was observed in a bouncy seat. The older children were observed watching an age appropriate television show and playing with toys. Four children?s records and three staff records were reviewed. There were no medications on site and all as the provider is not certified in Medication Administrative Training (MAT). There were no allergy care plans to be reviewed. The emergency preparedness plan and emergency drill logs were reviewed. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 4/20/18.
