Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-12:00pm. There were 5 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 2 direct care staff. The physical plant, programming, staff records, children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-920
Description: Based on observation, the menu for meals and snacks is not posted for the current week.
Evidence:
No menu is posted for meals and snacks.

Plan of Correction: I will print it off and post it.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-680-A
Description: Based on observation, staff did not wash their hands after contact with bodily fluids.
Evidence:
Staff was observed wiping a child's nose and did not was their hands afterwards.

Plan of Correction: I will speak with staff about washing their hands.

Standard #: 63.2-1720.1-B-2
Description: Based on review of two staff records, one does not have documentation of an eligible fingerprint.
Evidence:
Staff #1, (start date: 9/9/19) does not have documentation of an eligible fingerprint.

Plan of Correction: I sent it in, but have not received it back. I will follow up on it today and send you the results.
