An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 10:00 am through 11:15. There were a total of 11 children (34 points) observed with 2 caregivers. A total of 4 children's files and 3 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: snack, toy play, puzzle, numbers, and painting. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-570-A Description: Based on observation and provider interview, the provider has not ensured that the caregivers do not exceed 16 points.
Evidence: The Inspector arrived at 10:00 am, there were 2 caregivers with 11 children totaling 34 points. Provider stated that the other caregiver will be arriving soon. The third caregiver arrived at 10:45 am.Plan of Correction: I will have the third caregiver here when we are over 32 points.
