Standard 22 VAC 40-111-830B (shelter-in-place drills) were discussed with the provider during the inspection.
- Comments:
-
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/14/20 from 2:25pm until 3:25pm. At the time of entrance, there were 3 children in care, for a total of 8 points, with the provider. A sample of 3 children's records and 2 provider/household member records were reviewed. Children were observed resting quietly during nap time, engaging in free play and transitioning to snack. Toileting, hand washing and diapering procedures were also observed. First aid and emergency supplies, the emergency preparedness plan, documentation of emergency practice drills and family day home postings were reviewed. The provider stated there have been no accidents or injuries to children in care since the last inspection. No violations were identified during today's inspection.
