An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:20am-11:40am. There were 8 children (29 points) directly supervised by 4 staff. The provider has received approval from Arlington County Zoning Division for a maximum capacity of 12 children. Inspector evaluated the space designated for use of operation of the family day home, an increase in license capacity from 9 children to 12 children will be reviewed. The home, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing organized games, singing in Spanish, playing with musical instruments, and dancing. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. There were no violations cited during today's inspection.
