An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 12 children (27pts) with 2 staff were present when the Inspector arrived this morning. A third staff arrived just before lunch. When the Inspector arrived, the children were observed starting a Valentine's project which involved using paint. The children washed hands directly after the project and sat and sang songs together. The transition from carpet time to lunch was observed. The younger children were safety belted in their high chairs and the older children were seated together at a table. Lunch today was green beans and rice with milk to drink. Bathroom procedures observed directly after lunch as the children prepared to transition to nap time. Observation of the programming area, crib room, bathroom and lunch preparation was made. All 12 children's records were reviewed, 3 staff records and one household record was reviewed. No medications on site at this time and no topical ointments are needed. The previous violations from the July inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection began at approximately 10:40am and ended at 1pm.
