Comments:

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-11:00am. There were no children in care due to provider being closed due to flu. The home, 2 staff records, 2 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. . Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Standard #:	22VAC40-111-830-A
Description:	Based on review of emergency procedures a monthly drill is not being practiced every month. Evidence: The documentation of emergency drills is not consistent every month, for the months of August, September and December documentation states the drill was conducted on a weekend.
Plan of Correction:	I will make sure to document the emergency every month.
Standard #:	22VAC40-111-830-B
Description:	Based on review of emergency procedures, of shelter in places were no practiced. Evidence There is no documentation of shelter in place drills for 2019.
Plan of Correction:	I will make sure to document two times a year when I do a shelter in place drill.
Standard #:	22VAC40-111-90-C
Description:	Based on review of two children's records, one does not have documentation of an updated immunization record. Evidence: Child #1 is under the age of two and does not have an updated immunization record every six months. Last update 3/7/19.
Plan of Correction:	I will get the updated record from the parent.
